Rom: The ripped game itself; the file that contains the game.
These may contain any of the following file extensions: .iso, .cso, .rom, .gba, .gbc, .nds, .dax, .n64, etc.

Wares: Illegal forms of any copyrighted material.
In some situations, the consumer has a right to make a legal copy of their owned game and/or movie, however the distribution of this "ripped" version is illegal, thus there is no sharing of backed up copies on Team Blaze forums.

Hack: The editing of an electronic's programming with which it causes the item to respond in a different way then usual.

Mods: The editing of the superficial part of a video game or other electronic device. Not having to do with the programming of the game itself.

Thats all I can think of right now, if you guys have any more just edit the post or tell me and I'll edit it.

I have some general computer terminology for anyone who wants it. This is my first post in a while so get it while it's fresh!

File extensions that you may not know about for windows computers.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
.ini = a type of system file that holds configuration values. They are in the form of text and you can read them with notepad. DO NOT edit them. They fall under the category of hidden files. Editing them can be dangerous to you system.

.sys = Other system files. These are types of general configuration files that are used on windows computers. They usually handle device drivers.

.exe = ah everyone knows the classic and slightly stereotypical .exe file. It simply stands for an executable program that can be run by your computer.

.bat = a batch file that contains commands to be interpreted by the command prompt.

------------
that's just a short list of the top of my head.
