TeamBlaze slacking off?

And honestly, what good is moving the chat going to do for us? If people don't go on one IRC server, I doubt you will on another. Plus, as mentioned before, attempting to redirect everyone would be a major hassle at this point and it could lead to us dying, permanently. Remember the past times we've moved the chats/forums? We've ALWAYS lost people along the way, so I say moving at this point isn't an option. Maybe sometime, in the future, when TB has more members, ones who are active and such, we could pull off a move, but just not now.

People just need to go on the chat more, and even if you can't actively talk, IDLE IN IT. It does help, trust me. And, if you can't access IRC, help us by posting in this forum or in the Team Blaze thread at mariokartwii.com. The more people we have at least seeming active, the higher chance we have of being noticed. And when that happens, we are sure to recruit more people, activity and gameplaying will go up, and TB will be as it should. But it takes effort from everyone, and a "simple" act like moving the chat, just won't do it.

Also, remind people to come on TB's forum, chat, thread, whatever. :D

Whatever...it seems like you guys don't care much about the future. You guys need to stop being so conservative about this clan. Being conservative inst how this clan got started and its not how it got to its height. If you'v ever taken a real history class before you would know by now that living inside the status quo doesn't work for long...things need constant changes to adapt...ecosystems need change, humans need change, animals need change, and guess what so do clans! I'm sure Apoc is a nice guy and the other server people friends probably are too (lol people friends) but thats not a reason to limit TB's potential. But again, do as you wish, I'm only giving my opinion.

I agree with a Move at this point, as it's getting rather dull, so what if ppl still come to the DV one, we'll just redirect them. I'll talk to Lightrai/Blazaking about this, it's not like we can't ban any trouble clans. (ban the [ID] or the ~c:#chan) heh

Oh fun, if we have to deal with the whole "Rando is the only neutral guy BANNED" thing again, I'm out, keep that in mind would you.
Then again, it's LightRai in charge now...
No offense Luis. I think almost everyone was mad at me for going to TAG and that other clan.
But yeah, I agree with a move, I hate clicking on the TB tab in IRC and seeing nothing but me saying "Hello?" I mean, Presea and I are usually on, as well as a few occasional others, but, yeah, not enough for me.
Yup, it's the infamous Rando. More on this at 11 'o clock...

Well, I got us into GTT on MKWii.com. I just need people to participate. There's a whole thread on it on here. So yeah. If we do that, it'll probably get us some more members & things'll be a bit more active.

Haha man, this is a tough one.

Moving to PS could either give us the boost we need or end us for good, and now that we're on such an unstable edge, I don't want to risk the latter. I care about TB, and I want it to grow again, but there's no guarantee. We barely have even a fraction of the 200+ members we used to have, and we could lose most of them by moving. A good part of them don't check the forums and another part don't access the IRC, so communication is the big issue here. If I could guarantee a move with no hitches, I'd do it. But frankly, guys, I don't want to lose you all again.

EDIT:

Luis's points state exactly what I'm talking about, regarding moving. Also, the MKW thread helped us before, and it could do so again. One thing to note: idling in the IRC chat truly does help, it's what started TB and what motivated me to join more than two years ago. I strongly encourage you guys to be motivated and do that for the sake of TB.

You see, the whole IRC world is dying. PurpleSurge is large, however, it's different. These "clans" are not like those on Dejatoons. Even SPP is smaller than it has been in the past. Its numbers only consist of idiots.

They're all just idiots fighting with each other. With DV, I dunno what to do. I've got SubZero to start moving. Piplup_Princess now has an IRC channel there now. LG didn't just leave, it completely disbanded. The last time they went to PS, they fought due to the environment, and just died. Only a few of them are left now.

I've installed a #radio channel with live streaming music, and DV now has an IM server. If you want DV to come back to life, you have to connect. People do come there, just not like before. I guess people are too busy now that school has started, so, any other move won't really help.

Exactly. Plus, Purplesurge is full of arses I don't want in TB, they'd pollute it and decrease our collective IQ.

If you ask me, I agree with slasher. Many of you will say "wtf robe, you haven't been on, you don't know anything, fuck off" but hear me out. Look, if you think about it. Moving servers is going to be great. There's more people. More people = more members. Simple politics. You want people. You go where there are people. You have no other choice. I mean, really, just because there may be some n00bs on PSurge, or any other IRC network, shouldn't stop us from moving. That's what they made the ban system for, you want them out? Ban. Simple. You need to move or else it dies. We can't just sit here and hope for increased activity. It isn't going to just majestically appear. Do something about it. Drop the conservativeness.

ya, i'd have to agree, many of our ways to get people here havn't really helped as much as they should have (like the TeamBlazeOfficial channel on youtube)

it's not like we'll lose ppl when we move. sure we lost ppl before, but that was only because we started to lose our first official site and the fourms (before this one) went down as well... leaving a lot of our ppl unable to find out what happened to us. but we're staying on this forum, so we can still update to those we have right now.

if u guyz are still worried... than all i can is at least make up some sort of backup IRC chat or somethin of that matter when our site somehow goes down again (im not saying it will, but its better to be safe than srry)

P.S. if u guys are wondering how i found u guys after our first site and the forums (from b4) went down, i either googled or hannah told me

Lol I just popped in IRC. Yeah. It be dead. MKWii.com thread is dead. POST IN IT, YOU JERKS. :( Even if I do only check it when I have time, I'd like to see postage? Yes? No? Yes. :| Most definitely postage there. And... uh, that's it? Yey? I need to rebookmark this place, I think. I dunno. I'll check my bookmarks when I use my side of the computer again.
